Month: November 2014

Books, Books, Books…

Another Challenge I can’t resist…

Monthly Key Word Challenge

And another…

Mount TBR 2015

I’m going for the Pikes Peak this year, 12 books. I am going to complete this one. Seriously.

I love this next challenge, and it’s only nine books. Anyone can read nine books in a year, right? 🙂

And one final challenge, this one is a five year (FIVE YEARS???) challenge…

So I should be able to stay busy in the evenings. Anyone else want to read along?

Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge

My attempts at book challenges the past three years have been sad, although this year showed marked improvement. But I cannot resist making out lists of books to read, lol. This is the first challenge I’m signing up for from Escape With Dollycas Into a Good Book…

I’ve made a list of books, all from my TBR list, and I’m only short three. I’m going to learn how to make a separate little page for my book lists where you will find said list (hopefully within a week or so). I have some other challenges I’m considering so you may see more in the coming weeks.

I’ve been working in the studio. Here’s a painting that’s been in progress since March or so, it keeps changing its mind about what it wants to be.

I’ve been doing some sewing as well. I made these little tee shirts for my Puggies…

Today I cut the fabric for a Star Wars quilt I’m making for Nathan, and sewed up this pillowcase (seriously easy to do) too.

Finally, Nathan and I made an autumn painting using this plan…

But this is our version. 😀

Have a great week and a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hey, it’s Monday!

Good grief, it has been a crazy autumn! We were all sick for a couple of weeks, then I got a weird infection on the side of my face (related to the ear cartilage piercing that doesn’t want to heal), and then I totally reorganized my studio. I’m finally ready to get back to work. I’m trying out a daily to-do list. I hope it will motivate me to push through “the middles.” You know, when you’re halfway into a project and get really bored with it and decide to “take a little break” which turns into a month or forever.

I have been in the studio some, here are a few decoupage projects I’ve finished. Have a great week!
